My Eye (Bags)

You know you lack sleep when people start commenting this:

"What happened to your eyes?"

"Why, what's wrong with it?"

"You look like you haven't slept in days."

I got that exact same remark twice this week. Enough is enough. Slept early like a good girl last night. Although being a good girl tonight might be a little difficult. It's Friday night after all.

TGIF, everyone!

Now, this is more like it!

In spite of all the efforts of some blog readers who inserted in some suggestive words like Everlast U-n-d-e-r-w-e-a-r in their comments and all those spammers persistently trying to advertise their miraculous blue pill, my blog managed to emerge unscathed from those defaming attempts.

I'm proud to announce that my blog is certified as G, honest to goodness wan!

80%! How can this be??

80%How Addicted to Blogging Are You?

I don't believe I scored this high on the Blog Addict test. Higher than even Sunflower whom I got this from - and I think she blogs more than I do.

Someone tell me that I'm not an addict and not in denial!

I am 58% Addicted to Coffee

Now, this one is quite on the low side. 58% hardly counts for coffee addiction in my books. Strange test results indeed. Which brings a point home - do we really need tests (and innacurate ones at that!) to tell us what we already know?

Scrabulous is Fabulous!

I wasn't a scrabble type of person but now I took onto the Facebook's version of Scrabble (Scrabulous!) like duck to water. In the actual world, there are a lot of rules governing Scrabble. Words can be challenged and players penalised accordingly. I can't for the life of me remember these rules. Or which coloured tiles will give me more points for the whole word or letter.

But with Scrabulous, all these itsy bitsy minute details are taken care of. If the word is not a valid word in the dictionary, it's not accepted into the game at all. Hence, there is no need to challenge each other - although there is a Challenge button made available there. There's even a dictionary to test out your words to see if they are valid. Not sure if it's not considered cheating though :-P Still, we do what we can to ensure that we WIN!

Hehehehe. Spoken like the true board game kiasu player that I am.

Another reason why I love Scrabulous is the fact that with each game I learn new words. Words that I will have practically no use of in real life. The pic above is a current game I'm playing with Emmy. Go figure what the numbered words mean. Because for the life of us, we don't know what they mean either!

I Have A Garden!

My thumb ain't green. It's pinkish. It indicates that the owner is dismally ill-equipped for any gardening work. When I was five, I tried planting rice in my garden. 'Twas disappointed when nothing sprouted despite days of watering the soil. On a more recent case, even my tomato plants died on me.

But now, thanks to Facebook, I now have a thriving garden. Just look at the lovely thing! It feels so good to have a blossoming garden (sans the hardwork of maintaining it). A garden by any other name will still look as sweet. Thanks, Facebook - for the garden and Scrabulous!
