Mark did it again! He managed to reduce me to a bundle of giggles. And fyi, I encouraged you to go there to nourish your mind, not to murder you and dissect your remains

Library damaged by lightning! Thanks, bro. Needed that lift after a bluesy weekend. In fact, you've inspired me to post about a particular story that happened recently at a ... errr... library. Here it is, folks. Enjoy!
At The Library
She spotted Dean from afar. His well-shaped face, his sharp nose and the bright probing eyes constantly fixed in a comical and quizzical look was unmistakable. His head was turned this way and that. As if searching for something or someone.
It did not take him long before he spotted her as well. His head stopped its restless quest as their eyes met and held. They exchanged impish grins with each other.
She glanced at him being in the midst of packing up his books and notes. "Wah, you finished revisions already?"
"Yalar, am about to leave actually," he answered nonchalantly.
She chided him, "Ceh, never wait for me wan."
"What to do, you are late wat."
She shook her head, not taking him seriously. After all, they never made plans to meet up to study together that day. He just happened to be there week in and week out. Same time, same place. Always having an empty seat next to him, which she normally settled comfortably in. She went to return her books at the counter. When she came back, he was still sitting there, clean table and all.
"You done?" he looked up at her. "Wanna go grab something to eat?" he asked casually.
"Ok," she replied with equal casualness. As if being asked to a meal by dishy guys was an every day affair for her.
And so they left the library, poking fun and ribbing each other as were their usual custom. But there was a respectful distance between them that an elephant could have passed comfortably by.
Dean was never known for his suaveness nor charm. He was as straightforward as they come. And she suspected that he was kinda shy, too.
But that's what made Dean... Dean. And that was mighty fine by her.
