I got this list over email the other day. With a list like this, it kinda makes it easier to embrace the golden years ahead with a grin. I particularly like (and can relate to!) points 1, 3, 8 and 10. 4 out of 10 - still quite a long way to go before I consider myself truly old. Feel free to add on to this list, folks.
- Forget the health food, I need all the preservatives I can get - Maggi Mee, Pama Mee, Indo Mie, I love thee all!
- I finally got my head together, and my body fell apart
- Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it - Eh, how did I get this nose crooked? I must have broken it. But when did the cat fight happen??
- Age doesn't always bring wisdom. Sometimes age comes alone.
- My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.
- You know you are getting old when you stoop to tie your shoes and wonder what else you can do while you are down there.
- There's nothing left to learn the hard way.
- You consider coffee one of the most important things in life - Chek Hup! Chek Hup! Chek Hup!
- You constantly talk about the price of petrol.
- Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either - The other day, I bumped into a former counselee and for the life of me, besides her name, I can't remember her issues at all. I think it's a blessing in disguise, to be given the grace to forget the bad things and remember only the good ol' days

I wouldn't mind growing old in a place like this
