CNY 2nd Day

It's still terribly hot over here. But it's been quite a fun second day of CNY. For starters, I met this friend of Rina's from Australia who spammed me as soon as we were introduced. Literally. But this kinda spam, I like :-) Thanks, TypeB - for the humor, the spam and the Tim Tams!

Tomorrow, I hope to post a pic with the nemesis of the doggies who seem to rule this year. It still befuddles me why there is no year of the Cat. I can think of a hundred reasons why cats deserve a place in the Chinese calendar. So why didn't they (those Chinese calendar creators)?

*I don't understand it about the year of the cat too.. or rather, the lack of it. Who decides on which animal to choose anyway? They must really think cats are evil-canivel animals..
