The Voice of Conscience

I was bouncing off some ideas with BT on how to go about completing the month-long writing project. He pledged support to the very end. Eh, make sure you do hor? I need all the motivation I can get.

It suddenly crossed my mind that since I would be outstation for about 6 days next month, I might as well start the writing project 6 days earlier.

But dear BT, being BT said this,
no kenot... cheating wor. no way... you have to write more on the other days in nov... :-)

Talk about having a seared conscience. It's good friends like BT who will remind me of what's the most ethical thing to do.

But that means I have to write about 2,000 words a day.

Ah, the price of having a clear conscience.

*What exactly is this writing project about anyway? Is it a competition or some new-fangled social experiment?

*It's called NanoWrimo - the goal is for aspiring writers to chalk up 50k words in the month of November. Check details out at http://www.nanowrimo.org/

Winners will get to say that they finally managed to churn out a novel :-)
