My Green Gables

Aaah, this looks like something from a coastal beach, no?

Ooooh la la

Hmmmm... nah, it's the green, green grass coconut trees of home.

This post is inspired by Greenapple who asked me about my very own Green Gables in my previous post. Unfortunately, my house is not green in color. But her comment did make me think of something. Something green. Something that I'm privileged to see every morning just outside my bedroom window.

So now you know what I see when I look outside the window. Loved it as a child. Love it now.

*Oh, what an awesome view! No wonder you don't have to wear glasses (en, sorry, I made this assumption as I never see you wearing one in your photos) because of all the greeneries. I bet the air condition is great too!

So what's next? I suggest getting red hair! Or at least a red wig haha. Oh ya, Halloween is coming, you might as well have a 'Anne of Green Gables' costume party with all your kindred spirits. I bet that will be a lot of fun!

Enjoy! ;-)

*Ya, I don't wear glasses nor contacts, greenapple. Haha, must have been all that greenery, you are right ;-)

Good suggestion for Halloween! Though I am not sure if I'll look good in red hair. But here's how I look with brown hair - http://www.coolcatalyst.com/index.php?id=P62

*oh my your eyes are gorgeous! You're such a bookworm ( I mean you read so much, meant to be a compliment), yet your eyes are perfectly fine! You must be great at taking care of your eyes huh! Of course, the greenery sure would contribute a bit. Sigh, you probably can sense how envious I am, for my astig is still perpetually getting worse.

Seriously, I am happy for you. Keep up the good work! ^_^

*As for the hair, go have it braided like Anne too, dye red colour lah of course. I actually visited Prince Edward Island before, the place where the author Lucy Maud Montgomery was born. You can get so many types of souvenirs there, and I remember seeing the red-coloured braided-wig, together with a straw hat! I bet that will look cute on you.

*Wow, thank you, thank you :-) I think it must have been all the carrots my mom ate when she was carrying me. And yes, it's really a blessing to be staring at computers all day and read so much, and still have good eyesight. But I think I got some astig leh. Are you wearing glasses, Greenapple?

Hehehe, will see if I can photoshop a red-coloured braided wig and a straw hat and superimpose my face on it. See if it goes well or not. Man, you are simply full of zany ideas leh! Me like!

*oh, I've been wearing glasses for, wait, let me count, 12 years! sigh, what a pain. next time, remember to eat lots of carrots like your mum. may your future-kids inherit such special gift of yours.

zany ideas? hmm, ya meh? got ah? i think this is my very first time having someone to applaud my ideas. haha. happy now...

Such a beautiful lady you are, I'm sure that you in the red-coloured braided wig won't be an exception. Hey, have you ever tried an Audrey Hepburn look for yourself? I bet you'll be a killer!
