Lunch With Ireneq

image

Pink T's rulez!

At long last, managed to meet up with Irene again for a meal and yak session yesterday after many months of talking about it. The first thing we noticed was that both of us were wearing pink T's. Pink is in, yaay! We also slept very late the night before - or rather, very early in the morning - which explains our tired faces.

Second we both had Ixus cameras. Mine was just a generation before hers. The pic above was taken with mine in underwater mode. The ones below this post are taken with her spanking new Ixus 50. Yes, I gave her a new pinch .

Third, we found that we have quite similar opinions about a lot of issues. You know, where there's a lot of those 'Ya! Ya! Ya's!' and 'Exactly's!' going about. Must have been distracting to the other patrons at Laksa Shack though, heh.

And this is in addition to other stuff that we have in common like doodling and being able to draw girls better than we can draw guys.

Isn't it so cool to meet someone you have so much in common with?

Hee!

*Ariel, I had a great time and really enjoyed our conversation... we must do this again!! grin

I'm so glad I met you. I think you are what Anne of Green Gables would call a "kindred spirit" ;-)

*underwater mode?
is that really for underwater pics? waterproof?
#3 vagus (Homepage) on 2005-10-04 08:25 (Reply)
*Yep, it's meant for underwater pics - where the blue tones are greatly reduced - but the camera must first be encased in a waterproof case if it is to be submerged in water.

I like using this mode because the photos look so much warmer and romantic, not to mention being very flattering on the subjects :-P

*Awwww, Mark. Irene must have been the one with the IQ of 280 while I contributed to the remaining 20 points :-P

*You know, my bro just told me that ppl with an IQ of 20 can barely feed themselves. So hor, I think both of us must be higher than that leh because we obviously love our foodies. Hee!
#14 coolcat (Homepage) on 2005-10-05 04:43 (Reply)
*Wah! Such humility - are you sure you're both human?

(from wiki) "severe mental retardation: IQ 20-25 to 35-40; can be taught basic life skills and simple tasks with supervision."

#16 coolcat (Homepage) on 2005-10-05 05:38 (Reply)
*Ah. That would explain the reason for Rina and Diana being there then...

Hats off to you ma'am, you hide the degree of your retardation well. ;-)
