Birthday Countdown

Here are some of the things I did with my bezzie before turning older - before the strike of midnight.

1. Spent the day traipsing around KL for great Matta fair deals. Initially, we were all set to go to somewhere overseas. We pooh-poohed the Cuti-cuti Malaysia counters. Asked for packages to China, Vietnam and such. At the back of our minds, we were secretly comparing those prices with direct air ticket prices to Los Angeles and Melbourne. The problem was, we wanted to go for a break during DeepaRaya (Deepavali + Hari Raya) holidays and the packages were not cheap then.

So in the end, it was a choice between Langkawi or Bali. It was a no brainer. We can't imagine going back home and having our moms ask us, "So where are you going?" and to answer "Langkawi" would invite a lot of eye-rolling and comments like "You two went all the way to Matta just to end up in ... Langkawi???"

We're going to Bali!!!! Yaaay!

Me in KL. Backdrop not attractive, so cropped it liao... hehe!

2. Finally, finally, finally took photos of the Twin Towers at night! Wheee!

3. Spent the most of night counting down to my birthday at The Atrium.

I love the bucket-shaped chair. Feels just like I'm on MTV!

Awwww... can I stay longer here?

Mmmmmm... this is an utterly delicious cherry! Well, actually, it wasn't. But I just feel like advertising it. Bleh.

So there you have it, a page out of my very interesting day today on a very special day of my life. Thanks, bezzie, for spending the day with me. It was a blast!

Now, to sleep before I attempt to do Beer Brat's meme.

Double Bleh
