When Dust Gets in Your Eyes

CC cryin' I cry every morning when I go to work. Yeah, life's been crummy and bleak and my bosses are tyrants and sometimes I swear that my colleagues are specially chosen to torture me. Oh, woe is me. Why me??!

Gotcha!

Although life can sometimes be crummy and bleak, it's mostly dependent on how I choose to view it and make of it. My bosses are NOT dictators and my colleagues are really a most wonderful bunch of folks.

So why do I cry at work every morning since I moved to my new cubicle? More specifically, why do everyone in the new wing is crying along with me?

We have a few theories. Lack of ventilation in the new wing that is causing the dust to be trapped and irritate our eyes. Some say it's the shellac from the new furniture that's making us weep uncontrollably. And still others say the airconditioning system is the culprit.

CC cryin' Whatever the reason is, it has now become our custom to lift up the blinds and open the windows every morning to let the air circulate. So far so-so. My eyes still smarts but the sting effects have lessened somewhat.

So this is what happens when dust gets in your eyes.

Youch.
