Cheesy Alright

Maybe it's just us but we couldn't help laughing at the name given to Pizza Hut's latest offering. The Cheesy Sets.

Behold, the cheesy offering


I have been wanting to taste the Cheesy Lava 3 Stuffed Crust Pizza for ages now. And was thrilled when I finally got the opportunity to do so.

The verdict? It tasted ok. Wasn't as cheesy as the New York Pannekoek but can still taste the cheese lar. I shouldn't have guzzled up on all that Pepsi and garlic bread. Felt rather full after that. So I only managed to eat one miserable piece. Still, I brought the leftovers to work today. The leftovers tasted great, even after being heated up by microwave.

I guess it didn't really deserved to be called cheesy lar. According to an online dictionary, cheesy means 'clearly of cheap quality or in bad style'. Plus it reminded me and my friend about cheesy b-grade movies and jokes that we hear. Maybe a name like 'The All Cheesed Out Set' would be better?

We looked around us and saw that everyone else was eating their Cheesy sets calmly. Not like us who were grinning like loons over our menus. They'd probably took one look at us and go, "What chee sin* cheesy folks! What's so farnee about the menu?"

Anyway, if you haven't tried it yet, better go before the promo ends. At least you'll get to say that you have survived the Cheesy Set encounter. Ya, cheesy joke, I know .
