Tuesday, September 6. 2005The Many Faces of KopiKatMy Dripper and My Mug - Don't they look good together? Ok, I finally got the hang of using the Dripper. The first time I used it, instead of dripping slowly and elegantly, the water gushed out from the tiny holes. Asked Weisguy about it and he experimented on his own Dripper and this is how it's supposed to be done.
Part of the fun is seeing the thing drip but my cup ain't transparent to see this phenomena... Anyway, even as I am sipping my brew so slowly, the effects are already felt. Check out the pics...  The many faces of KopiKat! Disclaimer: I am not promoting SKII nor am I using their products. They just give fantastic free gifts to my mom (the user) and she passes some of them on to lucky me. This mug has been with me for more than a year now. Additional Note: The more I look at this pic, the more I notice something. Anyone care to give a guess what I resemble?  yah... hmm... i just love the smell of fresh coffee.... weisguy, own up.. where did you get it? Previously only available in very limited quantities to special frens on an exchange/barter basis.. So good that my brother J went out to buy out ALL of the Drippers and coffee powder today. Klang coffee powder(Chek Hup or Cheong Foh) i believe may give u similar kicks when u exceed normal recommended concentrations by 3X (super Kau) although it will not have the same fragrance. u have to ask Ariel as i hav not tried them yet. Weisguy, looks like you are my main drip coffee supplier now
