Black Monday

As Weisguy so wisely predicted, I had difficulty sleepy around 10pm yesterday. After tossing and turning and reading and trimming my nails and eating some chocs, I finally drifted off to sleep at around midnight.

Managed to get our butts to work at around 8.02am and the meeting started soon after. It was one long meeting - about 2 hours or so. At some monotonous points, I found myself daydreaming just to keep awake. Man, I really need that cup of coffee .

The thing is, I realised that having to start one day in a week earlier than usual doesn't just affect one single night. It's a whole lifestyle change. You can't just expect your body to obey you if you so decide to sleep early on Sunday night. The body has to be gradually trained and conditioned to shutdown early. Which may mean that like it or not, I have to start sleeping early every night if possible.

*Heh, at least your body still responds to caffeine. Normal doses of it has no effect on me, and I'm not even an addict!
