Patriotism

Saw this call to blog in Malay on our National Day (31 Aug) in Irene's blog and thought, sounds like fun! Besides having nothing better to do, of course. And so I registered here. All you Malaysian bloggers who are feeling a wee bit patriotic can sign up there, too.

I don't consider myself to be very patriotic. Ok, maybe just a tad. I still remember how to sing the national anthem and standing up in respect whenever it is played. And there was one Merdeka day where my bezzie and I took away to the East Coast and we yelled 'Selamat Hari Merdeka!!!' to the every flag bearing motorcyclist who zoomed past our car.

And now, to heed the call to blog in our national language. Man, I've never felt more patriotic in my life. Heh.

Now, to brush up on my Malay.

*Hehe I had the background colour of the banner/logo changed to my blog's background colour coz I cannot abide the pink. I'm a girl but it's still a tad too pink for me!
