Shopaholic Spree
The roller coaster at Berjaya Times Square. One word: Scary!
Sat, 20th Aug
"Oi, kesian you fall sick on your birthday today. Let's go do something nice tomolo," I said to my bezzie,
Rina.
"Ok lor. Wanna check out that new mall called Avenue K?" Rina said sluggishly under the influence of drugs (medicinal, not Ecstasy).
"Can, anything you want to do. It's your day!" I replied.
And thus today we shopped. Till we dropped. Well, almost lar. From 2pm to 10pm our dainty feet covered KLCC, Avenue K (
Very quiet. Still a LOT of vacant slots), Berjaya Times Square (
Borders...yaay! Didn't really like the layout of the place but it was much better than Avenue K. Roller coaster looked real scary!), Low Yat Plaza (
One of my little heavens on earth) and Sungai Wang Plaza (
The whole place screams 'Cheap, cheap, cheap!').
Man, were we on a roll. You couldn't tell that Rina was as sick as a dog for the past few days. She was all pink, bright and chirpy. Shopping does that to most girls, you know.
Shopping was not much of a problem for me despite having to hobble on one leg - got leg cramps the day before, youch! Maybe because my head felt lighter after the haircut I had this afternoon. That and the miraculous effect shopping has on the female species. The hairdresser kept commenting how much hair I had. Garn, I could write a book about how often I hear that comment. Anyways, hair matters deserve a post of their own. Later.
And no, I didn't overspend

I have a special concern in my heart for people who are going through tough times during their birthday month. Cases in point: My bezzie falling sick on her bday, an adorable old geezer having his exams and a caring sister in Christ experiencing a serious car crash.
Knowing how much they appreciated the little things I did to cheer them up just simply warms my heart. It's really nice to know I made a difference in your lives. So thank you for thanking me
bday hugs
