Phone Directory Services & Vanity Boost

I am intermittently online these days. Mostly because it doesn't look good for my monitor to be blinking like an orange Christmas tree while I'm supposed to be hard at work. So most of my chats these days are purely functional and very necessary.

Here are some samples:

Directory Services #1:

me: opposite
me: nice place, i think 24 hours, too

me: but dunno if still in operation or not
mr h: other than amcorp?

Beats me how those guys knew that I can find out about these things. Sixth sense? Heh.

Vanity Booster:

If you need further proof that I am vain, look no further.

*Dun think you can call yourself "Vainpot" lor.. you quite secure mah.. Vainpot usually insecure lor.. it's quite the opposite you have condifence.. err i mean confidence.. :-P

Does "vain" always have a negative connotation?

I think it was you who said to me ..
"It's good to have a healthy image of self".. so knowing what you have.. and sharing it (in a non-"showiness" way) is.. how-you-say.. not so vain-lah.

but if you truly wanna call yourself vain.. i'll bring my guitar around.. and sing a song JUST FOR YOU.. hik hik hik.. ;-)
