Today at cg, we were acting out some skits and in one of it, my character apologised to
Ju's one on behalf of the girl who broke his heart. It was an impromptu thing but it felt right to do that somehow.
And afterwards while
Ju and I were at the sink searching for empty tupperwares to tapau the yummy chocolate birthday cake (hee, it's
Rina's birthday this month, go wish her a very happy bday, ya?), Ju suddenly said something totally out of the blue.
CC, on behalf of all the guys who have hurt you and broke your heart, I apologise for their actions.
I blinked in surprise. No one has ever said anything like that to me before in my life. I felt something warm and good filling up my heart. And also a sense of lightness. So I said,
Wow... I accept your apology and you know, that really was unexpected but it felt real good!
Boy, that was a quick way of reaping what I sowed. I guess the sweetest reward a teacher or mentor can get is seeing your 'student' catching the spirit behind what you are saying and applying it as soon as he can.
Good ol' Ju! You're a one cool dude, man
