The Blogger in Me

The Green Peace Gang - Jude, Grace, me and Ruthie

There is unity in color coordination!

And it's even more delightful when it is unplanned.

Met up with the MAG-ers (Mentoring & Accountability Group) and we were tickled green to see that four out of five of us felt environmental today. Like the faithful blogger that I am, I decided to document this moment. To the normal person, they would think, "Aiyo, this thing also want to blog ar?" But to the blogger, every little thing can serve as good blog fodder. It's just a matter of how you want to present it, just the way you want it.

I think blogging has insidiously become a vital part of my life. It has come to a point where I can't live without my tiny camera, a decent pc and broadband connection. My close chums took this change in me cooly in their strides. Take Rina for example. Almost every time before she eats a nice-looking dish, she would ask me if I want to snap a photo of it first. And to the puzzled people in our company Rina would say, "She's a blogger." And that would of course steer the conversation to blogs and blogging.

I'm surprised to know that there are still people who have no idea what blogging is all about. And I find it a privilege to introduce them to this all so very interesting and inspiring world. To me, it's much more than just an online journal. It's a great way to hone, shape and release the bouts of inspiration and creativity that I get on most days. And all you nice people I meet through my blog, well, that's a very very wonderful and sweet bonus. Give yourselves a BIG PAT on the back! Hug yourselves too, while you are at it!

I think blogs, blogging and bloggers rock and are not just a fad. Let the good times roll and to all you bloggers, keep blogging!! And to the pre-bloggers, why not give it a try? It's fun

*I need a digital camera! My blogging experience is not complete yet. I keep promising myself, by the end of the year I will get one... grin

I also want a laptop just so I can surf at wifi hotspots and blog on the spot. I know, I'm sooooooo addicted. Such a goner!!

I've met some awesome people through blogging. The best part is -- when I post about my struggles -- I know I have people all over the world praying for me. The caring for me, to all intents and purposes a complete stranger, leaves me speechless.

*Nowadays can get decent digital cameras for under RM700. And yalor, the blogging experience is not complete without one! How many ppl would mail you the pics immediately after the event? By the time they do (assuming that they do lar), the news would have been stale liao. So go get one already, girl :-P

Hmmmm, yeah, having a wifi-ed laptop would be so cool. Especially those ultraportable ones drools That's one more item on my wish list ;-)

Yeah, the blogging community has brought forth wonderful pals. Of course, there are some trolls but generally, it has been a very pleasant experience. And oh, blog on, girl! Did you know, you are one of my inspirations in getting my own blog? :-)
