If I have been silent
If I seemed rude
Please do not be offended
For my phone has all but died-ed
It's a blah, it's a shame
To have a smartphone so lame
What can I say or do
Except blame Micro$oft for such a to-do
Since Sunday, my MPX200 phone has been acting up on me. I didn't have the heart to do a hard reset and lose all my precious data. And so I've been spending vast amounts of time on it - trying to export the smses and notes from there. But really, I might have to face the fact that I'll have to bid goodbye to them... forever.
The irony is, this phone has every feature I ever wanted. Everything - from mp3 ring tones, great color screen, awesome speaker quality, sd card support, almost unlimited contacts storage, Outlook synchronisation, etc. I even chucked my Palm IIIc after I got this baby for a very reasonable price.
But the darn thing would not allow me to read nor reply to SMS-es since Sun!!! And that's sacriligious in my books. Grrrrr...
Note to self: When you buy your next phone, make sure it behaves reliably as a phone first and foremost. All the other extras, well, you can live without it. And no more Windows Smartphone for me, nosirree!
Happier times with my MPX200. Haze effect added to portray the environment pollution that we Klang Valley people have been living with for the past few days.
Updates: I can send sms-es now! Yippee!!! It's all thanks to
this freeware which allows me to import my sms-es into text files and delete them from my phone to free up memory, hence enabling me to sms again. I didn't realise that I had nearly
1,000 sms-es on my phone

. No wonder lar hang! Welcome back into action again, my precious MPX200. I miss you, baby...
