It's my bro's first day at work in his new company. The perks? He gets chaffeured driven and can snooze all the way to work.
I am the chaffeur.
Yeah, my brother and I are now working in the same company. With all the company-related turmoil that I'm going through, it probably was an insane idea for him to come over. Many a times, we struggled and tussled over the idea. But in the end, for reasons of his own, he decided to work at my company. Don't ask me why, ask him
So yeah, it's been a strange day. Driving to and fro work with someone who lives in the same house as you. Having someone who knows everything about you to yak with during lunch time. Discussing work-related issues when in the past, were kinda off-limits whenever I'm at home (I prefer not to talk about work at home).
I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing but it sure feels strange. I'm not sure how my colleagues are perceiving it either. At the moment, they seem to be taking it quite well.
"So now, if we want to know more about you, we can just ask your brother!" said an old flirt.
"Wah, you two are like two peas in a pod!" said an amazed colleague.
"Is he your younger or older brother?" said the old flirt again. Now,
that made my day

Just need to be careful not to practice favouritism and the like. Or bully him worse than my assistants... heh heh.
I don't know exactly how things would work out but I guess the good thing I can see from this arrangement is that, I have someone who can share my burden both at work and at home.
But next month, it'll be my turn to be driven to work. I can hardly wait
