Heh, that never happened to me. Been asked if I was a stewardess or a sales/marketing person. Never IT. Never a model. It's nice to know that I don't have the typical nerdy look. But I digress.
This entry is really about a girl called Pam whom I met during the Forgiven play. She came along with my friend Anthony to watch me perform and turns out to be a nice, friendly and open person. She introduced herself as a scuba diving instructor.
The second time I met her was in a crisis handling seminar at the Elijah House training center. Again, we had a friendly chat. This time, I noticed how tall she really was. I mean, she was towering over the rest of us. And she had a big heart for God and people - volunteering to help out the tsunami victims in Sri Lanka as and when required.
The third time I met her was in the pages of Malaysian Women's Weekly. A cheerful and pretty face stared out from the pages. She was nicely garbed in a black diving suit. Very photogenic. She looked faintly familiar and when I saw her name, I smiled in recognition. Yeah, she is a diving instructor now and has volunteered to help out the tsunami victims.
But she was also a model and Miss Pahang before, too.
Wowzers. What a humble person! Tasteful, too might I add.
The next time I bump into her (I have a feeling that our paths will cross again somehow), I have already planned on what to ask her.
"Excuse me, were you a model?"
Hee!
Update: I got word from a friend of Pam's saying that Pam's a blogger, too. Heh, I'm learning something new about the gal everytime
