Saved by the Fast

Today, the office is half-empty. The absentees are on medical leave because of food poisoning. An episode from the Twilight Zone? Not quite...

Mike and I are participating in the church's 14 days of Fast and Prayer. As a result, we have not been going for the daily company lunches that my boss is initiating since Monday. Yesterday, he brought them to this yummy Indian food place which Mike and me would have loved to go had we not fasted. We would have drank every single drop of the curry!

Bryan decided not to go either because he was allergic to spicy food. So the three of us looked at each other and thanked God that we did not go for that office lunch.

It's kinda peaceful and quiet around here now that there's only a few of us around. Hee...
