The Christmas dinner yesterday was simply scrumptious. We had a huge turkey, spaghetti bolognaise, duck, roasted pork, other delectable knick-knacks and a durian cheesecake baked by Su Mene - baker extraordinaire. I'm not really a durian fan, but that cheesecake really blew my mind and tastebuds to oblivion.
Also had a very enlightening conversation with Zach, a fellow Dumc-er on a worrying trend whenever me and my friends counsel people. Will post the findings soon after the Five Find-Outers finale - thanks for the reminder, Chriselle

On a side note, after mulling about it for so long, I am finally going to get me a pair of proper and cool-looking hand weights from Fitness Concept. I've been using my dad's wrist and ankle weights all these while during workouts but nothing can quite compare to grasping solid weights in one's hands, I feel.
I guess I waited so long because I saw no urgency in getting them. The substitutes did a good job, but I never really liked holding ankle weights in my hands. It's like settling for something second best. Which is something one should never, never do while waiting for Mr. or Miss Very Suitable to come along.
Don't just date and keep on dating someone who doesn't bring out the best in you and whom you don't enjoy spending time with - just because you are alone. Wait for the 'proper hand weights' to come by.
Aaah, now, I'll be able to exercise without the hassle of removing my weights from my ankles when the arm routine comes up.
Going off to get them now. Yippee!!!
