I Finally Met My Soulmate

My ex-boss called me a few days ago. It was nice to hear from him. And I was glad that we could talk like we were friends. Previously, there was this invisible wall between us but now, it's gone.

He asked how my new job was and I just answered honestly from my heart, "It's a perfect fit for me. It's like finding my soul mate whom I've been looking for all my life."

Not a day passes that I did not think to myself, how blessed I am to be given this opportunity and seeing how my labor is appreciated just makes my heart sing even more. I did ask God, "Why did I only meet my 'soul mate' now?" But the answer is not for me to know. Not yet anyway. And it really doesn't matter. Now that I'm here at long last - my childhood dream fulfilled. A writer.

*I was job hunting some weeks ago and got recommended to a position which I like much. I attended the interview and was brought around the company. Some sort of a short tour. I can say that I like the environment and I am not fussy about the pay as the location is much, much nearer to home ( at least it's a one-bus-trip to work and not twice like where I am now ).

The sad thing here is that I wasn't qualified as I have no experience or even any qualifications! Therefore, it was tough to nail the job.

After this experience, I have this very strong desire to further my studies ( I will be taking a marketing course next year ). As for now, I need to be patience and work towards the path which God wants me to go through. Maybe the 3rd time, I will be much luckier!

And for you, my friend, I am happy for you!

*Coffee girl, I'm proud of ya - you had the guts to try out something that you love and are doing the best you can to get there. What matters is having a dream that propels us to go forward and God has shown you the direction.

And yes, 3rd time lucky! That's what happened to me :-) Although I'd say it's 5th time lucky or was it the 6th? Hmmmm!

*I really hope so. My current boss said that it's not necessary to have a qualification though it is a bonus in some cases. And she said it got to depend on the boss itself. But, in my case, it's not the boss but the management's decision. Therefore, I shall respect the management's decision as well as thanking the manager for believing in me!

Reading your current entries, I assume that you're pursuing your love for writing? Means you're now a reporter or writer???
