Cooking or Shooting

While shopping at the Big Book Store clearance sales, I spotted some cook books going for RM2. My overexcited bargain radar started to chime. "Cheap, cheap!" it went.

The photos of cake slices on one of the small books looked so very inviting. And for that price, I didn't twice before getting it.

"Hey, these are a bargain! I think I'm going to get one," I waved it in front of BT. "Man, look at these pics! Lots of good ideas on how to get the cakes to pose and shoot them."

BT nodded. "Or you can read the book and actually learn how to make them."

You know what? That thought never crossed my mind. Imagine that!

I dunno about you, but looking at delicious desserts just makes me want to go out and shoot them. I may even eat them afterwards. But to actually cook them? Nah...

I'll leave that to the professionals.

I only managed to tuck this in. The ice cream is heavenly - made of tofu!

*Lisa, you are right! Those are banana muffins with filo pastry. They tasted so good, too. Wah, you have very high confidence in my cooking skills. Perhaps I'll cook/bake for you when I'm domesticated :-P

Irene, yep, it's tofu alright. And it tastes like soya bean ice cream. Yummylicious! Do you dig soya bean? You'd love it then.

*Aiseh, I don't dig soyabean either, although I don't avoid it as zealously as I avoid tofu. I only like the egg-based tofu (the round type). Never mind, I will stick to McDonald's sundaes :-P
