Creatures I Encountered Today

While waiting for some people to arrive at a location shoot, I caught sight of a few interesting creatures loafing about the garden and decided to snap them.

I felt so wonderfully free to shoot the things I found interesting, without thinking of how they would fit into a menu or a brochure or a website layout. And then I realised how long it has been since I last shot just for fun. Just for me.

It was with a joyful and recharged heart that I pranced about the lovely garden. It had so many delightful and interesting knick-knacks and plants in it just begging to be shot.

There's a mischievous Bunny having a fun time guarding a pot of orchids.

A Gardener Girl hard at work.

Two squirrels fearful of nuts falling on their heads.

Two thirsty ducks at the oasis of a swimming pool.

Two chickens squabbling over who gets to take the worm home.

One confused dog.

And last but certainly not least, one happy bee.

I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated after this treat. I should really do more of this.

*i can imagine a recgharged heart in a garden like that!! :-)
Philip Yancey said it well

"One day i realised with a start that God 'sees' all the wonders of the earth at all times. Not only God see them, God is their source, and each reveals something of the Creator."

Philip Yancey, in Rumours of Another World.
