It Tickles

My throat tickles. And it's not in a good way. It's itchy and scratchy and makes me want to cough my lungs out.

There I was in a business meeting, trying valiantly to keep cough at bay by popping some Strepsils for Chesty Cough into my mouth like peanuts. I must have consumed about 7 or 8 in one go before I stopped. There should be a limit to how much Strepsils I can take in a day. Perhaps 8 a day like Panadol or something. The words written on the box screamed out at me.

"Suck two lozenges, one after the other. 3 times daily"

Egads. 6 is the max. I definitely took more than that!

I asked a couple of concerned colleagues to check if my eyes had turned reddish or did my tongue turn green? They assured me that I still looked ok. But they looked at me a little longer than usual. I suspect that they wanted something to remember me by just in case I expired of an overdosage of Strepsils for Chesty Cough lozenges.

To make matters worse, I've been dreaming about Mr. L since last Sat. I got to know him and used him during Yvonne's wedding shoot. And apparently, he left such an impression upon me that if he's not in my dreams, then he's there lurking somewhere at the back of my mind. I don't get it. I just don't. Other people dream of normal stuff - weddings, pink clouds, loved ones. Me, I just dream of Mr. L. I am such a gadget freak.

*Hope you get well soon! Btw, get a strip of Diflam. Strepsils is really lousy. But if your throat keeps itching, good strong ginger tea should do you some good lol.

Mr L is huge! But I suppose I'd want one too once I get my dSLR haha

*Lisa, yalor, 6 a day just isn't enough :-(

Merv, will look up for Diflam, thanks for the tip! Mr. L is actually small and chic. For a better perspective, check out pic #9 - here.
