Picnic at Lake Gardens

Bookcrossers (and some pseudo ones!) at our very first picnic together

This was a week of meeting up with dear old friends. Some I haven't seen in 2 years! There were so many things to catch up with. I think I was the one with the least updates. I still work at the same place. I'm still a singleton. I'm still having the same home address and phone number. Ah, but I do have two babies now (my dslr and dell laptop) So, I still have got something to update my friends lar, heh.

And today, there's another meetup of old buddies. The picnic went well. 17 of us showed up. The weather was great - that is, until we started singing right after lunch. Then it went cloudy and some of us took our leave before it started pouring. We set up our picnic site a distance away from the Dinosaur Park.

After lunch and posing to our hearts' content, Paul took out his guitar and belt some songs out for us. To his chagrin, the minute he found the chords to the song we requested for him to play, we were already well on our way to singing a brand new song. But he did a decent job in keeping up with our erratic song changes
