Opinions

I think I have issues about people who speak like they know it all. Like they know everything and you know squat, so your opinions are not worth a hill of beans.

Pebbles has an allergy towards know-it-alls but she thinks people who are without opinions are worse off.

In my case, I realised that although what they say may contain truth, it's delivered in such a way that is hard for me to take. And if I react to what I perceive to be arrogance and close-mindedness, I become the very thing I detested - close-minded towards what they are saying. And so the vicious cycle begins. It's a hard habit to break but break it, I must. Pebbles uses this quote by Voltaire whenever she finds herself in such a deadlock:
I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Neat quote, eh? A good principle to live by.

*When I am caught in a situation like your's, I would normally fuelled with anger. Then, one day, I thought, why the heck should I take this so seriously? I'd might ended up with more wrinles on my forehead, having shaggy cheeks far much earlier than I thought!

By then, no facial treatment can ever bring back my youthfulness! Oh Lordy!

My advice is to believe in yourself and be patience. Say whatever you feel is right and take the necessary action.

*Opiniated people can be hard to accept sometimes I guess.. A pastor once said to me "Look for the glitter of gold in the pile of stool".

Wishing you the best :-)
