What I Learned from the 2006 World Cup

1. If you want to win real bad, try to goad the star player of the other team into getting a red card. Ref: Italy vs. France

2. A quick temper can cost your country a CUP. Ref: Portugal vs. England, Italy vs. France

3. Past track record do not necessarily indicate future performances. Ref: Brazil vs. France

4. Germans are not jaguh kampungs. Ref: Germany vs. Italy

5. It's never too late to score three goals in 10 minutes and win the match. Ref: Australia vs. Japan

6. Obesity kills in more ways than one. Ref: A player by the name of R....

7. Anyone can be a referree. Even the blind, deaf and dumb. Ref: Too many matches to list

And last but not least...

8. You can be a German supporter and still look good in an Argentinian jersey. Ref: Moi!

*Haha well, actually to be fair to the Germans, they're own people didn't even think they'd make it through the Group of 16. lol

*Really? Well, I had complete faith that they would make it to the finals. But...!

*Me too.. i also thought Germany would be in the finals.. I would've really loved to have watched them in the finals.

I think only mistake the germans made was to play defensive against italians.. They should've just stuck to an attacking game.

Just looking at how they played football, is very similar to what they do in their hockey team... really organised..
