Wisdom

Sorry guys, I've been silent and offline today because I'm swamped with work.

Just wanted to say that I'm glad God made me smart. LOL! Nope, I ain't no Solomon lar. But but but... !

Long time blog readers would know by now about my hate-hate affair with Excel. I have to add in a major chunk of functionality into an existing Excel VBA code. And I couldn't decipher the masses of code left behind by the former programmer.

So I was searching the Bible for some inspiration for wisdom and came across this evergreenie of a verse:
James 1:5-6 ~ If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

I clung onto this verse for the past two days and never gave up in trying to make sense of the code (tougher than Da Vinci's Code believe you me!). And today, it all suddenly seemed clear to me. Everything made sense. Talk about answered prayers.

God cares about EVERY minute detail of my life - even that thorn of a flesh %@#!$@# Excel. And I know He cares for you, too. If you are in need, hang in there. He will come and save you.

*You refer to the Bible when stuck with programming? Intriguing. Most people I know would look up Excel VBA for Dummies. Oh well.
